Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixels. They let a site remember your choices, keep it secure and measure how it is used.

2. What we use today

buildxpres.com is a waitlist site and is deliberately light. At present we use:

• Strictly necessary: technical cookies set by our hosting platform (Vercel) to route requests securely and protect the site from abuse. These cannot be switched off and store no personal data we can read.
• Functional storage: if you join the waitlist, your browser may keep the form state until the page is closed so a refresh does not lose what you typed. Nothing is sent anywhere until you press “Join the waitlist”.

We do not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell data collected by cookies.

3. Analytics and marketing cookies

If we add analytics (for example to count visits by city) or marketing pixels (for example to measure Instagram campaigns), we will ask for your consent through a banner before they are set, and update this policy with the provider, purpose and retention period. You will be able to decline without losing access to any part of the site.

4. Third-party services

Links to WhatsApp and Instagram, and any embedded maps or videos we add, may set their own cookies when you interact with them. Those are governed by the third party’s own policies.

5. How to control cookies

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse all cookies or only third-party cookies, and clear cookies already stored.
• Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site, including the waitlist form, from working.
• Where a consent banner is shown, you can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

6. Changes

We will update this policy whenever we add or remove a cookie. The date at the top shows the latest version.
