Refund & Service Policy

1. Material orders

• Cancelling before dispatch: free. Message us on WhatsApp and we will confirm the cancellation and refund any payment in full.
• Cancelling after dispatch: we charge the delivery fee stated in your confirmation and refund the balance. Bulk factory-direct loads (cement, steel, sand, aggregate) that have left the factory cannot be cancelled.
• Returns: unused, undamaged stock items in original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery for a refund less a 10% restocking and collection charge. Cut-to-size, made-to-order, perishable (for example cement past 30 days from manufacture) and opened items cannot be returned.
• Wrong, short or damaged deliveries: tell us within 24 hours with photos. We replace the item on the next available delivery or refund it in full, including delivery, at your choice.

2. Tools, machines and robotics on rent

• Cancel more than 24 hours before the booked start: full refund of any advance.
• Cancel within 24 hours of the start, or after the equipment has been dispatched: one day’s rental is charged and the balance refunded.
• Equipment that fails during the rental through no fault of yours is replaced or the unused period refunded. Failure caused by misuse is charged at the repair cost, up to the deposit.
• Deposits are refunded within 7 working days of the equipment being returned and inspected, less any agreed deductions.

3. Workforce bookings

• Cancel by 6 pm the day before: no charge.
• Cancel on the day, or turn the crew away at the gate: a half-day rate per person is charged.
• If we fail to supply a confirmed crew, you pay nothing for that day and we prioritise your next booking.

4. Design, construction and interior projects

• Design fees: the free design offer (2D plans, 3D walkthrough, AR and VR presentation) applies to projects that proceed to execution with BuildXpres. If you take the drawings elsewhere, the design fee in your estimate becomes payable.
• Advance payments: the advance on a confirmed quotation covers design finalisation, material booking and crew mobilisation. If you cancel before work starts on site, we refund the advance less documented costs already incurred (for example custom-ordered material, drawings issued, or site setup).
• Cancelling mid-project: you pay for work completed and material delivered to date, measured against the bill of quantities, plus demobilisation costs. Any surplus from payments made is refunded; any shortfall is invoiced.
• Changes in scope: additions or changes you request are priced and agreed in writing before they are carried out, and may change the timeline.
• Delays by us: if we miss the agreed timeline for reasons within our control, we tell you why, give a revised date and, where the quotation provides for it, apply the agreed delay compensation.

5. Workmanship warranty

Our construction and interior execution is warranted against defective workmanship for 12 months from handover. Report a defect on WhatsApp or by email with photos. We inspect within 7 days and repair at no cost where the warranty applies. Normal wear, misuse, water ingress from works by others, alterations by others and natural settlement are excluded. Materials carry the manufacturer’s warranty, which we help you claim.

6. How refunds are paid

• Refunds go back to the bank account or UPI ID the payment came from, within 7 working days of our confirming the refund. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
• Cash payments, where accepted, are refunded by bank transfer to an account in the payer’s name.
• GST on a refunded amount is reversed by credit note.

7. Complaints

If something has gone wrong, message us on WhatsApp at 83092 54034 or email buildxpresofficial@gmail.com. We acknowledge within 1 working day and aim to resolve within 7. If you are not satisfied, you may escalate to our grievance officer at the address below, and you keep any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
